DAP Studio
James studied Fine Art at Reading University and then took a post graduate diploma in Theatre Design. From 1991 until 1995 he worked as scenic artist at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.
After a move to London, James spent the next ten years working as a freelance scenic artist. He worked for a number of companies including English National Ballet and Kimpton Walker Ltd.
In 2005 James set up Dap Studio.

Over the last six years DAP Studio has painted scenery and cloths for a wide variety of theatre and opera productions. Clients include Glyndebourne, English National Opera, The Donmar Warehouse, Shakespeare's Globe and the Almeida Theatre. We have painted many shows for the West End and a number of UK and international touring productions.
