project was involved creating faux ironwork, some
nice fairground painting, (not pictured here,) and
a stencilling marathon painting the penny scales.
Jane's carnival float was one of six projects created by Art U Need, curated by artist Rob and Roberta Smith. Jane designed a huge fish to be driven through the streets of Purfleet. The project was run with lots of local primary school involvement. This BBC Video explains more.
