Chichester Festival Theatre
Rob designed a clapboard town as a back wall to the theatre at Chichester. Our brief was to paint a Kansas wheat field onto the back wall so that that audience were taken from the town to the countryside by changing the lighting state. We used real and painted texture to tie the various elements of the set together. Rob was back and forth to Toronto to oversee work on his designs for the canadian production of The Sound of Music, and so our online "work in progress" gallery proved a useful communication tool.
