Our reference for this set came from the wall in Jerusalem. As with many jobs this one depended on the combination of texture, paint and varnish to allow light to bounce off the surface of the concrete structures in the right way. The audience were fairly close to these objects so they had to look like cast concrete not plywood boxes, (which is what they were.)
