Our brief
for this project was to paint scenery that looked
as if it were part of the theatre. We used a door
from the Globe Theatre itself as a reference. This
was woodgrained in a stylised Elizabethan fashion.
The map was painted on silk noil. This looks like
canvas but is very soft and good for cloths that
have to tumble.
