Each month we receive a number of enquiries from people interested in pursuing a career as a scenic artist. We have designed a short course to act as an introduction to the profession.

It will cover a number of different scenic finishes and techniques, the use of a wide variety of tools and materials, and enable the student to quickly build a portfolio of photographs of their work.

The course is not designed to produce fully-fledged scenic artists. It takes time to learn all aspects of the job and this cannot be done in a couple of weeks. However it will allow the student to get an idea as to whether scenic art is for them. We will be able to advise on how to pursue a career in the industry, explain some of the different possible avenues to be explored, and offer advice on what to do next.
